Frequently asked questions about buybacks

The Upgreat buyback process is designed to be as simple and convenient as possible. Follow the steps below to send us your device and receive your payment within 48 business hours after the technical inspection.

Fill out the online questionnaire and describe your device’s actual condition.
Once completed, an estimated offer will be shown.
If it suits you, add the device to your cart and complete the order.

After confirming the order, we will send you a free return package, which includes:
– secure packaging for your device
– a prepaid return label (if included in the package)

Place your device inside the provided packaging.
Ensure it is unlocked (Find My iPhone / Google Lock disabled).
Locked devices or devices still tied to accounts cannot be accepted.

If a return label is included, attach it to the outside of the package.
If the label is not included, we will send the required return codes and instructions via email and SMS, depending on the delivery method.

Smartpost Itella Returns

a) If your package arrived in a blue locker:
– Return is free using the same door code.
– You can return the package at any blue Smartpost locker in Estonia.
– You may also return using a white locker by registering the return at my.smartposti.ee using the shipment number.

b) If your package arrived in a white locker or pickup point:
– Return must be registered at my.smartposti.ee using the shipment number.
– You may choose either a white or blue locker for return.
– You will receive a new door code to insert the package.

DPD Returns

– DPD sends an SMS and email with return instructions and a PIN code.
– Go to any DPD locker.
– Enter the PIN code.
– The locker prints a return label → attach it → insert the package.

Omniva Returns

– Omniva sends a return code via SMS.
– Return the package at any Omniva locker or service point using the code.

Our technicians inspect the device according to your submitted questionnaire.
– If the condition matches → payment within 48 business hours.
– If not → you will receive a revised offer within 48 business hours.

You have 7 days to accept or decline the new offer.
If no response is received within 7 days, the offer is accepted automatically.

Once the offer is confirmed (or automatically accepted), the payment is transferred within 48 business hours.
If you decline the revised offer, your device will be returned free of charge within the same timeframe.
